As one drives through Olympic National Park one can see small streams draining down the mountainside, especially in spring, from snow melting on the mountain tops or after a heavy rain. One comes upon them unexpectedly as they are mostly concealed by the rain forest. This one presented great inspiration and composition with its tumbling triple falls that flowed into a rocky pool of clear, icy flanked by the rich greens of the rain forest .
