This is a painting that I have been working on for several weeks as time allowed in between my small daily paintings. The straight architectural lines of the building in contrast to the free forms of the landscape are interesting. It is located in Kirkland, WA. The flag, one would expect at a Heritage Hall, adds a wonderful accent of color. It was a lovely day and being a 4th of "July-er"the scene made me feel happy and proud.
